Leave it to the Fleet Foxes to serenade us visually amidst these chilly winter days. Robin Pecknold broke out the ol’ acoustic for the band’s new music video for “I’m Not My Season” from the latest LP Shore. The video is shot inside Brooklyn’s St. Ann & The Holy  Trinity Church, and the performance captures the feeling of a pristine hollow space—sure to give anyone watching some audio inspired goosebumps.

The music video was filmed and directed by Robin’s brother Sean Pecknold, who also directed Fleet Foxes music videos for “Sunblind” and “Can I Believe You”, all tracks off of Shore. Simple and intimate, this performance captures what many large enclosed structures feel like inside today; quiet and untouched from large amassing crowds. Robin’s hymn-driven haunting vocals fill the church, bouncing off the stained glass and old stone amidst the low light, and for the short time, it feels like the church warms up inside defending it from the brisk city air outside. Kick back, turn it up, and stay warm.
