Say hello to my little friend, Hotel Havana.

Hotel Havana opened in 1914 in San Antonio by a visionary who wanted to bring a little Cuba to the Lone Star State. Built in a Mediterranean Revival style and complemented with magnolias, palm trees, and cypress trees, from the outside, it’s definitely a place that would attract Tony Montana. Inside, is a different story… The design is more creative in style with a mix of historic, retro, and elegant furniture, a look that can often be found in hotels and homes in Havana today.

This creative vibe boils over into the public spaces like Ocho, the hotel’s restaurant and bar. It overlooks the famed River Walk and has a menu steeped with Mexican, Cuban, and Texan influences. The glass conservatory rocks a cerulean blue and white color scheme, glass walls, and extravagant chandeliers that artists, musicians, and creative captains of industry will appreciate.

The Havana Bar offers cocktails and beer in a candle-lit basement. It’s the perfect place to get some work done, host a low-key meeting, or hang out on Thursday nights for Havana Hi-Fi, a night full of soul, Afro-Latin, and funk sounds from different eras.
