Deep in Portland’s Pearl District is Teardrop, a cocktail lounge that calls to those looking for a bit of pep to their step with a libation for relaxation.

Opened in 2007, Teardrop Cocktail Lounge is widely respected in Portland for their cocktails, which are made with liqueurs, syrups, digestifs, vermouths, bitters, and tinctures. These drinks are attracting locals and visitors alike, and not just for their amazing names.

Our CYTIES Recommendation is A Wing and a Prayer which is comprised of Olmeca Altos reposado tequila with tamarind nectar, lemon, TDL Amer, maple, and chili threads. Also, high on our list is the Sky Rocket, which is a whiskey blend with Kronan Swedish punch, lemon, Dolin dry vermouth, and whiskey barrel-aged bitters. Bartenders meticulously mix these drinks and the results are phenomenal, having the city of Portland raving about each bespoke cocktail.

Take your drink from the curved bar and make your way to a table, booth, or chair to sit and relax. Taste the expertly-crafted cocktail.
