Floor to ceiling windows open each room into a bright, enveloping masterpiece decorated with sensible modern accommodations designed by international interior design firm, Yabu Pushelberg. Speaking of sensible, in perfect NYC fashion, most of the furniture can be folded away to procure an elevated sense of orderly openness, and boy, does it give you so much more room for activities.

With attractions like The High Line, Madison Square Park, and The Chelsea Market just miles away, Moxy seems to act as a central hub to reboot, recharge, and have some good old-fashioned fun (perhaps even with an Old Fashioned in hand). According to their website, “Take a slice of Rome, add a shot of Chelsea, and give it all a Moxy-style twist, and you’ve got a day’s worth of enticing options for dining and drinking.” Uh, we couldn’t have said it better ourselves, and we ALWAYS have something else to say. In the case of Feroce Ristorante, the main dining option at Moxy, this multi-faceted, multi-room experience opens up like a Russian Doll. By way of world-famous TAO Group in partnership with Francesco Panella of legendary Antica Pesa, which is now rooted in three bustling travel destinations internationally — including Brooklyn, Rome, and more recently, Shanghai, precious Italia is condensed, but not at all forced.

After a craft cocktail or two and a few rounds of a bocce drinking game downstairs at Bar Feroce, for the rooftop imbibing experience of your life, 360° views of the Manhattan shine beyond innovative retractable glass walls within The Fleur Room. For a drink and a little dancing, boogie down under a gigantic vintage disco ball and forget any and all woes for a while. Sexy and totally dreamy in terms of atmosphere and offerings, the coveted night in becomes a hip adventure. If you’re ever looking to splurge on a $3200 1.5 liter bottle of Dom Pérignon Rosé, this is your lucky day, fella. If you’re not looking to break the bank, but need some refined booze in your belly, yeah, they’ve got that too. Opt for vibrant little diddies such as the Forget Me Not made with Belvedere, mandarin orange, coconut cream, and lychee nectar, or the ever-floral Lilac Jane made with Bombay London Dry Gin, grapefruit-infused pea flower tea and lavender.
