Smuggler’s Cove is a secret island — and we just handed you Jack Sparrow’s supernatural compass. The needle always points towards the Fillmore district, where on any given night this award-winning bar showcases over 500 different types of rum. Make your way inside and order up, because the crew on deck is well-versed in vintages from California to the the Caribbean. With their wide selection of over 80 different cocktails, you’ll be three sheets to the wind before you can muscle out your first pirate quote. Savvy? With rum combinations that have been around for over three centuries, it’s no wonder that Smuggler’s Cove takes the helm as the largest rum bar in the United States.

The infamous quote: “Why is the rum always gone?” — six words you’ll never hear muttered in this bar

If it’s “Yo ho ho, a pirate’s life for me,” then the interior of this tavern won’t feel much different from life back at sea. With one bar on the main deck and one down below (in the berth), the entire place is decorated with tiki artifacts, historical nautical décor, and rum barrels. When looking for your buried treasure, we suggest you start with our Cyties favorite, The Dead Reckoning: pineapple, vanilla liqueur, maple, tawny port, bitters, and choice rum that has been known to knock the Black off a Beard.

The infamous quote: “Why is the rum always gone?” — six words you’ll never hear muttered in this bar. With happy hour every day, and more rum then water, lets just say you’ll never have to worry about meeting ol’ Davey Jones’s locker.
