Menotti’s

time Everyday: 7am - 6pm

The gathering spot for Venice locals who live for old-school vibes and damn fine coffee, espresso creations & baked goods. The open white-walled space feels like a mom and pop shop with a twist of vintage cool.

Coffee with a view of the beach. That statement right there is enough to entice anyone, but Menotti’s is much more than just that.

Look for the wooden sign etched with a bold “M,” and you will find a simple shop with a relaxed atmosphere that is Menotti’s. Here they brew, steam, and ice our favorite coffee drinks with absolute precision. The shop reflects the product it provides, with a laid-back approach that is sleek and stylish. Upon entering, it’s immediately apparent that Menotti’s is a neighborhood staple dedicated to the people they serve.

The E & T is just one gem on the secret menu — you’ve got to work for the rest.

Serving Four Barrel Coffee, Menotti’s easily stands out as one of the best coffee shops on the west side. Classics such as an Americana or Cortado will keep your wheels spinning as fast as the ones cutting through the Venice Skate Park. Looking to cool off? Order an E & T (espresso and tonic), which delivers your daily dose in a refreshing way that you haven’t experienced before. The E & T is just one gem on the secret menu — you’ve got to work for the rest.

Ask for “Nicely,” and if he is the one making your concoction, you just hit the barista jackpot, as he is an award-winning coffee mastermind. His cappuccinos go down the same way you pronounce his name, and he keeps the city of Venice caffeinated, one easygoing day at a time.
