Palihotel Seattle is situated in the city’s downtown core, you can basically reach out and touch Pike Place Market. What we appreciate about this design-savvy hotel the most, is its commitment to the details that make a difference to todays' travelers who seek a little exclusivity and privacy.

Things have shifted when it comes to modern hospitality, especially in the form of a hotel. The grand, high-rise, endless banqueted hall model of a place to hang it up just doesn’t seem to check the box for what we define as today’s model for the modern explorer. Intimate, secluded, and comfortable is a setup we all can agree attracts us more than often. A place that feels half-hidden, a place to hide, reflect, indulge—insulated but positioned perfectly. That is where the Palihotel Seattle thrives, slightly camouflaged to passerby’s, while its chic and stylish life imbibes wait for any who adhere to becoming part of its spoiled society.

The Palihotel is comfortable, and the location is an absolute gem when it comes to exploring Seattle on foot, or in other words, when you lace ’em up and hit the concrete CYTIES style. Out the door is a short walk across the street to Pike Place Market, and all the prizes that lead to Elliott Bay waterfront.

The rooms are a perfect shelter, comfortable and approachable, with a thoughtful blend of classic and contemporary purposed art. A claiming green can be found in each room, a signature of this Seattle location. Be sure to save an evening for The Hart and The Hunter, which happens to be home to Palihotel, it’s full of cocktails and features a localized menu that defines the words cozy and delicious.

Over the last decade, boutique hotels of all kinds have started to appear in Seattle, and while many on our City Guide list won’t let you down ( there is an aesthetic for any kind of traveler) the Palihotel will certainly cater to anyone looking for a stay that feels sequestered in design and indulgence for the finer things in life. Truly, a place to hang your hat.
